WHAT WE DO

Grow by Design firmly believes it takes a community to educate the next generation of leaders,

creatives and innovators. Schools and teachers need resources, particularly financial support

and people power to help them develop engaging lesson plans. Businesses can help by providing

these resources. Designers and entrepreneurs can assist by partnering with educators to co-develop

hands-on and fun activities linked to STEM and Common Core Standards. And most importantly,

students and parents need to be involved by actively providing feedback on how to improve the

curriculums. Our mission is to bring the community together to help educate our children.

Grow by Design is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

"If we can get the community, parents and teachers working together to create a plan that gives students a better grasp of the information, they will find learning exciting and develop creative thinking."

"Grow by Design connects my students with real world scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs, that’s priceless.."

ERIC  I.

"An opportunity for the community to get involved in educating children, businesses to support schools and teachers to work together to develop a comprehensive lesson plan = a winning idea!"

"I think that our children could benefit from more hands on learning.  I love how this curriculum gets all subjects involved to strengthen a child’s grasp on a topic as they fully delve into it.  It also gets kids excited and helps them commit fully to learning and enjoying the quest for knowledge.  Having the community involved is key on so many levels.  It shows children how important they are.  It introduces children to the real world and shows them how their education is preparing them for the world around them in a more concrete way.  It is actually a cycle that feeds on itself.  The more we invest in our children, the more we are investing in our own future."
